Christopher Myers

Current Director of Advancement, Marketing, and Communications with 25+ years of experience, and an established record working in the education and nonprofit sectors. Highly-skilled in donor cultivation and stewardship, graphic design, marketing and communications, database management, and web design. Dedicated team player who thrives with multitasking and project management, especially in smaller organizations where wearing multiple hats is required. Strong community and social services professional with experience that also includes work as a journalist, army officer, and community organizer/volunteer.

More than ten years of director-level experience in nonprofit development/advancement, marketing, and communications roles. Most recent role involves heading both the Advancement and MarComm Departments at an SF Bay Area school for neurodiverse students, which will enter the public phase of a $3M capital campaign this spring. Prior work experience includes web design, teaching middle and high school to students with learning differences, journalism and graphic design, plus a stint in the U.S. Army Signal Corps where I was twice deployed overseas.
