I'm a dedicated and resourceful Data Management Professional executing a strategic career pivot from decades of experience in Database Administration (Sybase, MS SQL Server) to specializing in Cloud Data Engineering.

Known for a high degree of resilience, fortitude, and technical self-direction, I am actively mastering the modern data stack to build scalable systems and automation pipelines.

I'm focused on securing a Database Administration, or Data Engineer role where my unique blend of deep, high-integrity database expertise and aggressive cloud adoption can directly drive organizational efficiency and system construction.

I'm currently enrolled in a seven-month Data Engineering course while working toward an AWS Data Engineer Associate certification.

I'm committed to advanced formal education, currently attending Purdue University's Data Engineering course and intensively pursuing the AWS Data Engineering Associate Certification.

Completed online training courses in Data Science with Python programming, Data Engineering, and Postgresql.

In 2024 I completed Cloud Computing - University of Texas, This is a Cloud computing course that incorporates AWS, Azure, and GCP. Course curriculum covered topics such EC2, VMs, Load Balancers, Storage(EBS, EFS, S3, Blob, Databases), Lambda functions, Containers, and Docker. 

In 2022 I completed a Full Stack Development bootcamp - University of MN, A full stack developers course that focused on web development both front end a backend. Topics were javascript, html/css, Front-end Frameworks, Responsive Design(Bootstrap, Tailwind, React), Databases(mysql, mongodb), Version Control(Git, Github, Gitlab), APIs, and Testing(Unit and Integration) 

In 2023 I completed Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2022 - Koenig step forward, This was a 40 hour hands on training on how to administer MS Sql Server databases.

In 1998 I completed a Unix C and C++ - University of MN, Completed 6 month course. 

Completed Training through United Health Group for Introduction to Problem Solving and Lean Problem Solving. 

Graduated from Concordia College with a BA in Mathematics.
