I have worked with the Department of Children’s Services for 17 years, and I currently serve as a Program Coordinator, where I support placement and network development efforts, review referrals, coordinate admissions, and mentor staff. My work centers on collaboration, systems navigation, and advocacy for children and families, with a strong emphasis on accountability, relationship-building, and ethical practice.

Alongside my public service role, I am an entrepreneur and event professional, managing and growing service-based businesses that require strategic planning, client relations, branding, and execution of high-quality experiences. These roles have strengthened my skills in organization, communication, creativity, and leadership.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Tennessee State University, where I built a strong foundation in the legal system, ethics, investigative processes, and public service while developing critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at Middle Tennessee State University, with a growing focus on equity, community systems, and working more closely with schools and youth. Together, my education reflects my commitment to advocacy, accountability, and creating meaningful, people-centered outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.
