Chin Yu Fang

I am a versatile professional with experience in film, media, and cultural events. Currently, I'm a preliminary judge for the Kaohsiung Film Festival International Short Film Competition and have been a writer/music critic for BmoreArt Magazine since 2020, where you can find my articles online.

My film work includes on-set costume roles for "Death on the Brandywine" (2025) and "Counterfeit Kids" (2024), and wardrobe assistance for Billy Strings' concert in 2024. I have a strong background in film subtitle and script translation since 2010, working with various film organizations in Taiwan.

From 2007 to 2022, I coordinated film festivals, followed by a role as Editor in Chief at Taipei Music Center in Taiwan (2022-2023). I also served as a Program Manager for the Kaohsiung Film Archive/Film Festival (2021-2022), curating programs and managing film screenings. Earlier experiences include photography for White Wabbit Records (2012-2016), staff work for the Taiwan Documentary Filmmakers Union (2012-2013), and custom cleaning/interpreting for the "Life of Pi" film production in Taiwan (2011). I also worked as a writer and editor for Red Bull Taiwan (2014-2022), contributing articles and event recaps.
