Melissa Kelt

Hello thanks for looking! I’m currently working as an illustrator for a costume company where I create the textures that get printed onto fabric to bring various characters to life. Previously a mobile game UX designer, web designer, and graphic designer at an advertising agency. I’m a stylistic chameleon, able to adapt and match the art style of my work to fit the project. 

I’ve designed logos, letterhead, websites, landing pages, cross platform consistent emails, done a/b testing, designed hundreds of icons, been the lead designer for game interfaces, made custom packaging, event signage, designed T-shirts for screenprinting, drawn photorealistic portraits of people and animals in digital and traditional media, created countless seamless repeating patterns for fabric prints and different material textures. I’ve also had some managerial experience where I’ve helped delegate tasks, provided training, and interviewed potential new employees.

I originally majored in fine art and have a foundation in color theory and traditional drawing skills, which then evolved into a more graphic design focus where I finished my bachelors of visual communications. However, most of my  skill set is from ongoing learning and improving throughout my various careers.
