Hi there! I am Catherine, a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. I am looking for work in the museum sector, as I hope to become a museum curator! I am an incredibly creative and highly motivated individual who wishes to educate, preserve, and uplift communities through curation. 

Interior Design Intern

Travis Wilson, P.h.D., Founding Fox Distillery

Collaborated closely with the principal designer to develop designs throughout the Programming Phase, Conceptualization Phase, and Construction Documents Phase. Conducted industry research to determine adequate space planning and the selection of proper materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment. Professionally engaged with investors, city officials, and community members to design a distillery that is culturally representative of Bluefield, West Virginia.

Historic Preservation Intern

Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum

Coordinated with the Key West Historic Architectural Review Commission and contractors to execute preservation and restoration projects. Lead the programming and schematic design stages of the Hemingway Home and Museum Bookstore remodel. Assisted in the design and creation of museum exhibits and displays.

Analyzed FEMA Hazus Program data to develop various residential models using Revit to test and examine the effect of wind velocities in high-risk geographical locations.
