About Catherine Lucero:
My motto in my work ethics is "there is always something TO BE done at work, CAN BE done or something that CAN BE DONE better, no excuses".
In spite of this work ethic motto, and mindset as an employee, I've built-up high expectations in my work responsibilities, when it comes to performing work duties/tasks assigned to me by an employer.
As an employee, I am not satisfied or content with my work if I know I did not put in 120% of effort in the work duties/tasks assigned to me. Maintaining high expectations and an overall drive to "go above and beyond in effort" in my work", adds credibility in experiences in skills I've obtained in the past years, of employment. In Spite of that credibility, I take it in great stride and have gained much confidence in doing so.
Having a mindset of working hard is not something that just comes naturally to oneself; it is something you have to train yourself to do. It does not come easy nor is it something that can be gained overnight. Being a hard worker means having a positive drive, self-discipline, and enthusiastic curiosity of your own potential.
Especially in being the ability take failure in that trial and error process in a positive manor, by maintaining great patience and, trying it again, without the fear of possibility of failing again.
I believe you get out what you put in. To me, that means, if you spend a lot of time on something and work hard on it, you can only achieve greatness in the outcomes of all the hard work you complete.
Experience
I have experience as a gas station clerk, grocery, bakery, deli, frozen food associate. I also have experience in overnight stocking as well as floral arrangements and stocking.
Education
I did continue to pursue a high school diploma going even past 2 years after senior year, but unfortunately due to circumstances involving relocating from AZ to CA, was not able to finish getting my high school diploma due to the two states not being to come to an agreement on transfering my credits i earned in AZ and convert them to CA credits. Before the covid19 pandemic i dedicated my extra time to studying for the GED exam while working a full time job and caring for an infant son. I accomplished passing 3 exams except one. As i studied for my last exam, the covid19 pandemic happened and unfortunately interrupted my ongoing progress and process of obtaining my last exam needed to obtain my GED.
As of today, I'm on a fast track to study for my last exam when i have time to put in my full attention when i am not too busy doing my motherly duties to my son who is now 7 years old and in first grade. As well as find stable full time employment.
I am confident that i will pass my last exam needed to obtain my GED before May.
