My name is Carsen Raab. I am a student at Brigham Young University preparing to apply to medical school. I have a passion for helping others and love learning and speaking Spanish. I am a hard worker and am disciplined in all that I do.

-I was in charge of assisting the doctor during dental procedures, always striving to create a positive experience for patients.

Missionary Training Center, Provo, UT — Spanish Teacher

-I taught missionaries the Spanish language and helped them develop skills to allow them to be successful learners and teachers. I was in charge of 8-16 missionaries at a time.

-I was responsible for various jobs, including construction, flooring, countertops, electric work, and landscaping.

-I was in charge of landscaping, planting, harvesting, and packaging  wheat and other crops.

Volunteer — Spring Creek Elementary School – 10 hours

-I helped in a 3rd grade classroom by providing assistance to the teacher and to students who were falling behind because of a lack of ability to speak English.

Volunteer — Community Rehabilitation Clinic –20 hours

-I helped provide patients with a positive experience as I helped them through the exercises that the physical therapist had prescribed them.

Missionary — Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – 2 years

- For two years, I served the community of West Valley City, Utah and surrounding areas by tending to their spiritual, emotional, and temporal needs.
