I'm a native English speaker from the USA.  Ive had many years of teaching plus BA, BA Hons and MA degrees, from USA, NZ and UK universities.  I enjoy working with students to help them achieve their goals, whether it's TOEFL, IELTS or simply better speaking and listening. 

I bring a global perspective along with a hard-working, flexible attitude, and as a native English speaker I believe I can help them understand nuances of English and best practices in all regards.

I started teaching in private language schools, where I learned to make English classes as enjoyable as possible in a competitive market. 

I have had experience teaching all ages: young adults, teenagers, adult or mature students, primary ages, kindergarten and preschool, in classes and individually. I have worked in universities, tutorial school, community college, English centres and more. My work has been in New Zealand, China and the Middle East. I find students are the same everywhere, similar interests and goals, and bring  hopefully some wisdom as well as energy and passion to the role.
