  • Managed Day to Day operation with the Branch to include improving profitability of the service                                        department.

  • Directly involved with improving billing and setting standard for turnaround time from completion of service to billing the customer.

2003-2024          Advanced Mechanical Services – A Helios Company                                                Orlando, FL Director of Special Projects (Dec 2023 to March 2024)

  • Review and manage all projects above 50k.
  • Manage workflow to include planning, sourcing, installation, start up and close out of permits.
  • Quality control on all installation projects.

  • Train and retain all technician part of the installation team.
  • Develop and implement S.O.P for installation department.

 

Vice President of Field Operations (Jan 2023-Dec 2023) 

  • Managed field operations for six states (FL, GA, TN, SC, NC, AL) including service, installations, and technical support for large projects. 
  • Provided oversight for quality workmanship and responsible for P&L for all 6 states.
  • Involved in recruiting efforts, forecasting, and the implementation of programs to promote technician retention. 
  • Developed mentorship and training programs for new technicians. 
  • Developed and implemented S.O.P. (Standard operating procedures) for Director of Field operations. 
    • In the process of developing a levels program, this program helps all technicians from entry level to Regional Service manager identify and acquire all skills needed to advance in all positions within the company. (PM/Helper technician, Jr. technician, HVAC technician, HVAC/R technician, Lead Technician, Senior Lead Technician, Field Supervisor, Service Manager and Regional Service Manager) This also included the development of hourly compensation and incentives. 

Director of Field Operations (2022-2023)

  • Oversaw the field services team including service managers and service technicians. 
  • Interacted with each district to identify areas of concern and consolidated plans to improve field productivity and process. 
  • Collaborated alongside the President, executive team, office managers, field service managers, office team, and field service technicians to identify strategies to achieve company goals and ensure enforcement of policies. 
  • Developed and implemented a train the trainer program. 
  • Developed and implemented an 8 – 10-week training class to recruit and train candidates with a mechanical aptitude to become PM/Helper technician.  Had 2 successful classes in 2023 with a total of 6 graduate students. 
  • Developed and implemented S.O.P. (Standard operating procedures) for all Regional Service Managers. 

Regional Service Manager (2016-2022)

  • Undertook the scheduling, quoting, and issuing of POs for larger scale jobs. 
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and conducting technician reviews. 
  • Supervised on-site safety checks for all technicians.
  • Managed work order profitably, technician profitably, tech support, and closing out of permits. 
  • Developed and implemented S.O.P. (Standard operating procedures) for all Service Managers, Field Supervisors and Field Service Technicians. 

Service Manager (2008-2016) 

  • In charge of running projects, technician management, tech support, training, on-site safety checks, and fleet management.
