I tutored English to non-native speakers, enabling them to improve their English conversational skills and knowledge of American Culture. I conducted extensive 1-on-1 conversations for 1 hour 3x a week.
I incorporated active listening techniques and intercultural communication, creating a comfortable atmosphere and building rapport. I supervised tutees in their assignments with regard to improving grammar and sentence structuring. I helped them improve their writing and understanding of English syntax.
