Graduate Research Assistant and Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Expertise in project management, experimental design, data analysis, scientific communication, and crop management for diverse mulched specialty crop systems. Research interests include innovative methods for improving the sustainability of plastic mulched crops and mitigating production risks using cover crops.

Nearly 6 years of experience working as a graduate research assistant where I provided leadership and decision-making to the Wortman Lab (University of Nebraska - Lincoln) as it relates to research establishment, field management,  data-logging protocol, and data interpretation.

Education

Ph.D. Agronomy and Horticulture from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln (expected to graduate May 2025). Dissertation topic: Addressing agricultural mulch challenges in specialty vegetable production. GPA: 3.87

 

B.S. Plant Biology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln (graduated May 2021). Specialized in biotechnology with a minor in horticulture. Graduated with Highest Distinction Honor. GPA: 3.94.
