Brittany Janes

I am currently self-employed in the Equine Industry and looking for a little extra work that I can do from the ranch. I am a hard worker and passionate about anything I set forth to accomplish. I am proficient in problem solving, proof reading, editing and customer service. I feel these attributes, along with being a self starter, are an asset to any company. I have been in this industry professionally for 13 years and I am currently at a place where I have extra hours in the day to be useful elsewhere as well as here. 

I am currently self-employed at Rising Above Equine. We opened in August of 2019.

My duties include, but not limited to:

 Managing the barn, people and horses. Problem solving. Marketing. Quickbooks. 

Specific experience pertaining to current job search is when I worked at the Fertile, MN Newspaper. I wrote articles, edited, sold ads, newspaper layout and printing. I had to be proficient in all aspects of Customer Service as well. 

Another avenue of professional experience that I have and still do once a month, is haul horses professionally for clients between TX and WI, MN, SD, and IA. 

I have a Diploma from Lorena High School. I went to Hill College and University of Wisconsin- Rock County, but do not have an Associates as I decided to continue with my dog grooming business, Mutt Lovers. I owned and operated this mobile grooming business for 6 years before selling.
