Healthcare
About Brionna Murray:
I’m a public health professional with a background in clinical research, data management, and quality systems. I have a deep curiosity about how disease impacts communities differently. My journey into epidemiology was driven by a desire to understand the reasons behind health disparities and use data for equity and prevention.
Throughout my career, I’ve supported clinical trials, maintained compliance in regulated environments, and contributed to research focused on historically underserved populations. Whether managing data or collaborating with diverse teams, I’m motivated by the bigger picture. I want to help build evidence-based, equitable, and people-centered systems.
Now, as an MPH candidate, I’m sharpening my skills in epidemiologic methods, surveillance, and program evaluation to drive informed and inclusive public health strategies.
I am passionate about bridging science and service to promote better health outcomes, especially for the communities that need it most.
Experience
I am a results-oriented professional with hands-on experience in quality control, clinical operations, and research. My background includes coordinating cross-functional programs, managing data documentation, overseeing regulatory and compliance tasks, and driving process improvements in biotechnology and pharmaceutical environments. I have successfully supported new program implementation, handled environmental monitoring and quality assurance efforts, and collaborated closely with stakeholders to uphold compliance standards. Through these roles, I have strengthened my ability to plan, organize, and execute initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and industry regulations.
Education
I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health, with a Minor in Infectious Diseases and Population Health. Previously, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Minor in Sociology from Providence College, where I was recognized as a Martin Luther King Scholarship recipient. This academic foundation has equipped me with a strong understanding of research methodologies, public health principles, and sociological perspectives that inform my approach to data-driven decision-making and project implementation.
