Brielle Helder

I’m a high school student enrolled full-time in a PSEO program and I currently work multiple jobs, so I’m used to managing my time and staying dependable. I also have personal experience helping care for my grandmother who has dementia, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how important compassionate care is. I’m CPR certified and interested in working in a direct care role to gain hands-on healthcare experience. I plan to pursue a career as a pediatric surgeon, with a specific interest in pediatric urology, and I’m eager to learn and grow in a clinical setting.

I have experience working in dining services at Gustavus, where I help guests, work as part of a team, and maintain a clean and organized environment. I also work in a daycare, supporting children’s daily activities and ensuring their safety. In addition, I work in customer service at American Eagle and as a receptionist at a salon, where I interact with people daily, manage schedules, and provide front-desk support. Through these roles and helping care for my grandmother with dementia, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well with others. I am CPR certified.
