  • Leaded Pharmacy’s Aetna Healthy Actions – Rx Savings initiative.  Worked with cross-functional team to spearhead naming strategy/re-branding effort and to develop toolkit which supports ASC customers (23 clients and ~ 275K members) pre and post sale needs.  Collaborated with extended team to expand Rx Savings offering to include FI customers and DM capabilities. 
  • Created a comprehensive APM Healthcare Disparities strategy.  Developed plan and build awareness across the enterprise. 
  • Managed and supported Product team on several critical initiatives including 1) expanding the Mail Order benefit, 2) enhancing the Specialty benefit, 3) exploring the Share-the-Savings and 340B Pharmacy opportunities, etc.

  • Led the ASM Women Owned Businesses (WOB) Strategy with a focus on the Philadelphia Pilot and the national roll-out plan. 

Helped to establish Aetna as the carrier of choice for WOB and to impact WOB membership growth. 

  • Managed SRC participation project as well as developed marketing programs and communication strategy to reach brokers, sponsors, and members.  Increased participation rates a 100 basis point which equated to 20 K members and enhanced Hispanic market penetration through pilots in San Antonio and Houston. 
  • Facilitated the performance reporting and data collection for the Scorecard, the President's monthly report, the Quarterly Business Review, as well as managed Aetna’s regional businesses budget (~$1.5M) within Strategic Marketing. 
  • Championed the 2006 Diversity Annual Report (DAR) Storylines for National and Regional Businesses Senior Executives and 

External Constituents.  Worked with project team to finalize the 2006 DAR which highlighted Aetna’s contributions to a diverse marketplace, captured the voice of our consumers and ultimately enhanced Aetna's business results.

Competitive Intelligence • Assessed market and key competitors’ information through secondary research to identify market trends and “white space” opportunities. Presented findings, implications and recommendations to senior managers, segment head and project leads. 

  • Developed value proposition to differentiate Aetna from its key competitors within National and Regional businesses, ConsumerDirected Health plans, Specialty Medical Management companies, and top individual health company. 
  • Provided Quarterly Key Events Summaries highlighting critical accomplishments and news worthy developments on Aetna’s key competitors. Summaries were made available to Aetna’s top 200 executives.
