In my role as an LPN charge nurse at an acute psychiatric hospital, I was responsible for overseeing patient care and supporting a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and safety of patients in crisis. I managed medication administration, coordinated daily activities, and led de-escalation and behavioral interventions to maintain a therapeutic environment. My focus was always on creating a safe, empathetic space where patients felt supported during their recovery. This experience strengthened my leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills, especially in high-stress, fast-paced situations

I completed an accelerated LPN program, which taught me time management and adaptability in a fast-paced learning environment. I’m now expanding my skills by pursuing a career as a radiology technician. My clinical experience as an LPN has given me a strong foundation in patient care and healthcare teamwork, and I’m excited to bring that experience into radiology, where I can blend my hands-on patient care skills with my interest in medical imaging technology.
