Supported team development of Southern Company Power Pool’s first digital SCADA application to Monitor and Control Power Generation.

Hardware Monitoring to identify software or hardware inefficiencies. Identified and implemented software updates that saved Southern Company many thousands of dollars or delayed new hardware expenditures.

Developed Cost of Energy Management Application for Power Plant Management.

EBSCO Industries 10/1996 - 2/2005

Design, code, implement and test internet SQL database application EBSCO’s online Electronic Journals System (EJS). (3 years)

Manager EJS Support (later EAMS) (6 years).

Manager 2nd level customer support (five employees) supporting EBSCO customers and employees worldwide (e.g. US, UK, Korea, Russia, Australia, etc. ) Interface between first level customer support, application developers and customers (customer advocacy). EBSCO was a global leader in matching ongoing product development to current customer need, and ascertaining and responding to it’s customers future needs. 

Developed in house CRM procedures, and later converted to SalesForce CRM.

Wife had cancer; left EBSCO to support her.
