COP 27 University Representative, John Cabot University; Rome, Italy — November 2022
As a Student Representative at the COP 27, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, I actively participated in high-level
discussions on climate change and sustainability, representing the perspectives and interests of youth. I engaged with policymakers, experts, and international delegates to advocate and discuss ambitious climate action and the inclusion of youth-driven initiatives. My role involved attending workshops, networking events, and plenary sessions, where I contributed to policy dialogues and collaborated on actionable solutions aligned with the SDGs. This experience enhanced my understanding of global climate negotiations and strengthened my skills in advocacy, diplomacy, and cross-cultural communication.
 

Vice President, JCU MUN; Rome, Italy - 2022-2023
Led and managed the Model United Nations Society and its activities. Planned the weekly and biweekly meetings for the society along with appropriate materials. Developed unique and enveloping topics for members of the society to engage and learn from. Taught new and upcoming members of the society procedures of committee and proper diplomatic etiquette in and outside of committee. Supported a diverse community within the society and engaged in cultural exchanges amongst the international community within. I led a delegation of the society to Harvard World MUN, Paris 2023. Where I was able to perform and uphold my responsibility and led my group throughout the whole conference. My leadership and communication skills were pivotal in promoting the club’s mission of engaging in international politics within a respectful and inclusive environment.
 

Food Sustainability Chair, Grassroots; Rome, Italy — 2021- 2023
Organized the biannual campus food drive on campus in order to reduce food waste at the end of each semester. Managed the delivery of donations to VORECO, a donation center that works closely with John Cabot University. led initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable food practices within the community. My responsibilities included organizing educational workshops, implementing zero-waste meal programs, and coordinating events to raise awareness about the environmental impact of food production and consumption. In particular, my efforts allowed for the implementation of paper cups in the university cafeteria. Furthermore, I and the executive team collaborated with other organizations to create opportunities that supported the club’s mission. By championing sustainable practices and fostering dialogue on food equity, I helped inspire actionable change among members and contributed to the broader goal of environmental stewardship.

I recently completed my last semester at John Cabot University. At the conclusion of which, I attained an International Affairs BA. During my time at university I involved myself in multiple clubs, societies, and activities on campus. My involvement in extracurricular activities varied from membership to leadership positions. As a result, I have become accustomed to working in diverse cultural and social environments. While working in a diverse environment, I focused on excelling in core curriculum that pertains to my major and interests within International Affairs. Which resulted in my resolute passion in working in an environment that shares the same goals and commitment as I do towards International and Governmental Policy and Organizations.
