Antalisha Jacquet

Hello! My name is Antalisha, but all my students call me, Miss Alisha. I have lived everywhere from Rawang, Malaysia to Kissimmee, Florida. I was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, but grew up in Houston, Texas, USA. 

I have taught every grade level, Early Childhood – Grade 5 students for over 22 years. I am currently Certified by the Texas State Board of Education. In addition I am experienced in curriculum design, academic planning, and Special Education (Previously Certified by the Florida Department of Education for Grades K through 12).

Also, I worked several years as an Education Consultant Specializing in the Primary level. My experience ranges from Teacher Training Workshops and Teacher Mentoring support services to creating Student education plans and providing homeschooling parents support services.

I graduated from University of Houston in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and from Ashford University in 2010 with a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology.  I am licensed to teach in the United States of America in Texas and Nevada.  I have also obtained a TEFL certificate.
