Anika Knowles

I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.S. in Marketing, a minor in Sociology, and a certificate in Social Responsibility and Ethics. I'm passionate about brand strategy, community engagement, and purpose-driven marketing. Through hands-on experience in both agency and nonprofit settings, I’ve developed a strong foundation in campaign execution, cross functional collaboration , and data-driven decision-making. I’m eager to bring creativity, strategic thinking, and a collaborative spirit to roles at the intersection of business and impact.

I began my marketing career in the nonprofit sector at PLJV, where I supported strategic communications, community outreach, and mission-driven storytelling for a conservation organization. I later expanded my experience in the agency space as a Marketing and Sales Intern at Visiqua, where I led email marketing efforts, managed client relationships, and launched a content initiative that increased organic engagement by 84%. Across both roles, I’ve developed skills in campaign execution, partnership marketing, and data analysis, with a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive measurable results in dynamic environments.

I earned my B.S. in Marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder, with a minor in Sociology and a certificate in Social Responsibility and Ethics. As a member of the Leeds Scholars Program—a selective honors program for high-achieving business students—I participated in advanced coursework, professional development opportunities, and leadership experiences that strengthened my strategic thinking and commitment to purpose-driven work.
