Angelica Santos

Hi, 

My name is Angelica Santos. I am in the process of applying to graduate school to obtain my masters degree in mental health counseling and one day become a licensed professional counselor. I have some background in the health care field as a medical assistant and an emergency room unit clerk. As part of my journey, I strongly desire to become a mental health/behavioral technician. I would be honored to be able to gain the knowledge and experience that it takes to work with others and to be a part of their growth.

  • Maintained ongoing communication with physicians and medical staff to ensure the delivery of excellent service to patients. 
  • Ensured compliance with all HIPPA guidelines and maintained accuracy and confidentiality of all patient records. 
  • Took initiative and implemented process improvement strategies which increased unit efficiency, including organizing inter-departmental contact information to streamline communications, which was adopted by other departments. 
  • Became the tech subject matter expert relied on to fix the unit’s technical issues.
