I am a Massachusetts State Certified Medical Assistant. I have more than 20 years of experience working for physicians in a Research Medicine Firm as well as a clinical practice setting. I worked in the Emergency Room at Hubbard Regional hospital for 2 years as a Medical Assistant to the doctors and nursing staff.  I have been a phlebotomist for 20 plus years. I have worked with autistic clients in a vocational setting.  I am very skilled in computer data entry and have experience in various EDC systems for computer literacy and capture. I am IATA certified and have done the entire laboratory processing on various protocols for FDA approval of medications in clinical trials. While working; I assisted with patient’s medical intake, including vitals and medical history. I also assisted with billing insurance, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and prior authorizations. I have a wide range of experience in medical documentation as well as clinical practices. I currently work as per diem in a Urgent Care setting also. I have had interns for the majority of time for the past 5 years which I have taught them all facets of Medical Assisting. I have attached a copy of my resume which details my qualifications further. I am very interested in this position and very willing to train on my own as well as in this setting.

I have worked with all aspects of clinical trails from Start-Up to Close Outs.  Full Phlebotomy, EKG Technician, Medical documentation on research medicines and Clinical effects on patients.  Medical transcription and Data entry management. Fully trained and certified in Medidata, Oracle, TAO, Mdsol, and Rave. Trained and certified in medication dispensing in various systems. Endpoint clinical, Impala, CLINphone experienced. All Laboratory Technician specimen handling and transportation. Trained and certified in diagnostic specimen handling and shipping. IATA certified. GCP trained. Experienced with working with monitors and Data and source verifications. Helping to prepare documents used throughout clinical trials. Worksheets, demographic forms, PE forms, questionnaires, Patient drug usage as well as injection documentation. Future appointments to ensure with in protocol visit windows. Assisting the Doctor with the Consent process. Assuring all Consent forms are up to date per protocol. Printing and verifying up to date SUSARS for the Doctors verification. I have prepared word document worksheets to use as source documentation for each study. 

I have participated with Clinical Pharmacology in over 350 clinical trials in areas of Rheumatology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, and Pain Management. As, well as Lyme disease. I have attended Investigator meetings and briefed the office on all the aspects of upcoming trials and educating other Study coordinators.
