About Andi Gabler:
I’m a graduate student at Babson College pursuing my Master of Science in Finance, and I’m currently looking for a part‑time serving or hostess position 3–4 days a week. I have hands‑on experience in fast‑paced restaurant environments, where I’ve built a reputation for being friendly, reliable, and calm under pressure.
My background includes serving roles at both Blue on Highland and Papa’s Raw Bar, where I learned how to create a welcoming guest experience, manage busy shifts, and work seamlessly with front‑ and back‑of‑house teams. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people, staying organized during high‑volume service, and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.
Outside of hospitality, I’ve strengthened my communication and professionalism through tutoring and internships, which helps me bring maturity, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to every shift.
I’m eager to join a team where I can provide great service, learn new skills, and support smooth daily operations while balancing my graduate studies.
Experience
I’ve built a strong foundation in hospitality through hands‑on serving roles in fast‑paced, guest‑focused environments. My experience at Blue on Highland and Papa’s Raw Bar taught me how to deliver warm, attentive service while juggling multiple tables, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, and keeping operations running smoothly during high‑volume shifts. I’m comfortable with POS systems, cash handling, and maintaining a polished, professional presence with every guest interaction. Outside the restaurant world, my tutoring work and internships strengthened my communication, organization, and customer‑service mindset—skills that translate seamlessly to front‑of‑house roles.
Education
I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Finance at Babson College, where I’ve developed strong analytical, communication, and time‑management skills that support my reliability and professionalism on the job. I’m TIPS‑certified and trained in responsible alcohol service, and I have working knowledge of Toast POS from previous serving roles. I’ve also completed coursework in customer experience and service operations, giving me a deeper understanding of how great hospitality is built behind the scenes. Together, these experiences help me bring both competence and confidence to any serving or hostess position.
