About Amber Thorsen:
I have been fortunate to have spent my entire nursing career working in Women’s Health. I genuinely love this population of patients and welcome the opportunity to continue cultivating a community that cares for, supports, and uplifts women from all backgrounds, beliefs, and orientations.
This desire to better serve women and to create more lasting, impactful patient relationships led me to obtain my graduate degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Duke University. My experience and education have made me competent in assessing, diagnosing, and treating women throughout their lifespans. In addition, I have learned how to leverage my natural traits into leadership skills. I am naturally amiable, quiet-natured, and driven, allowing me to be calm in stressful situations. I use this skill set and my role as a collaborative team player to provide excellent patient care.
I am certain that both my extensive work history in reproductive endocrinology and my diverse clinical rotation experiences have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to make a valuable contribution to your team.
