About Amanda Flaherty:

I am a passionate special education teacher who loves working with students to get them back to grade level in their academic careers. I have accomplished test scores that jumped up some by 89 points and others by 69 points for some of my students within a few months. I love and am passionate about working with all kinds of students. 

Experience

I have been working with special education students now for 3 school years. I worked in a small charter school and worked for Clark County School District (CCSD). I taught as the lead Resource Room Teacher for K-5th grade and increased my student's test scores. 

Education

I received my Master's Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University in December 2023. My GPA was 3.73.
