About Alvin James:

In 1993, Pastor James made a profound commitment to the Lord at Mt. Calvary Church of God in Pottstown, Pa. By the year 2000, a church was established from the humble beginnings in the basement of a local home, which eventually became New Beginnings Global Ministries in Pottstown.Pastor James who was licensed through the Mennonite organization, felt a deeper calling from the Lord to do more. 

His journey led him to the field of Chaplaincy, where he pursued and completed the Clinical Pastoral Education program at The Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences. Currently, Pastor James serves as a Hospice Chaplain for Grand View Health in Sellersville, Pa. Pastor James is a proud graduate of Liberty University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Religion with a minor in Christian Counseling, as well as a Master of Divinity from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary.

As a devoted member of Greater Shiloh Church, Pastor James also plays a significant role as an Associate Pastor, working under the leadership of Pastors Phillip and Kristina Davis. Both He and his wife are over multiple ministries including The Salvation and New Members Welcome Room, and the GSC Street Ministries. He also has been licensed and ordained at Greater Shiloh Church in July 2009 and continues to serve the Lord and His people with his wife Bridget at his side.


 

Experience

As an associate pastor, much of the emphasis revolved around building discipleship, overseeing ministries and the education of new membership. This does not negate other duties such a visitation, funerals, marriages, baptis, and so many others.
