Yazmin Jasso

I’m someone who genuinely cares about helping people. I recently passed my LVN boards and I’m excited to start my nursing career. I also have a background as a barber, which taught me how to connect with people, listen, and build trust. I’m hardworking, adaptable, and always looking for ways to grow both personally and professionally.

I have a diverse background in healthcare and customer service, with hands-on experience supporting individuals in both clinical and community settings. I recently completed my Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) training at Career Care Institute and successfully passed the NCLEX-PN, preparing me to provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care. My clinical training has equipped me with skills in vital signs monitoring, documentation, infection control, and assisting with daily living activities.

In addition to healthcare, I have several years of experience as a licensed barber at the Navy Exchange, where I developed strong communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. I am experienced in working with diverse populations, building trust, and maintaining a professional and respectful environment. I am especially interested in mental health and psychiatric care and am committed to continuing my growth as a nurse while making a positive impact in my community.
