Communicative professional with top-level skills in customer service and leadership. Determined individual, eager to employ my diverse skill set to work in an inclusive environment and to serve clients with communication disorders.

While completing my Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders, I trained with SLPs such as Amy Scotland at the Florida Hospital to observe therapy sessions for patients with Aphasia and assisted in making barium samples for swallow tests. After graduating, I completed a month-long internship at a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology center in Puerto Rico (Centro Ecó). There, I observed and practiced speech therapy with 3rd to 6th-grade students in a group setting to analyze their language development. Currently, I am positioned as a Speech-Language Pathologist assistant at a private clinic. In this position, I actively participate with the SLP in the supervisory process to follow treatment plans (long-term & short-term goals) set by SLP and document student performance in S. O. A. P. note formatting to prepare for re-evaluations such as the PLS-5th Edition.
