About Allison Dwyer:

I have a strong foundational of customer service skills, getting my start in high-end hospitality and luxury retail.

I have long worked in health/wellness spaces. I began as a client-facing Front Desk associate, and eventually became studio manager, leading a team of 8 front desk representatives and 12 practitioners.

I have several years of experience in healthcare contact centers: I fielded inbound calls for a major medical network and its patients, appropriately   resolving inquiries or triaging when necessary.
I also served with NYC’s Test and Trace program as a case investigator, performing outreach to patients with COVID. This required gaining their trust, so they’d be willing to answer personal health questions over the phone. Calls were lengthy and involved developing a case timeline, urging isolation while sick, and determining individual needs to connect resources such as meal delivery, masks and test kits for family, and even hotel accomodations if necessary. I also notified their recent contacts to advise safety precautions.

More recently, I’ve focused more on the marketing and sales side of medicine. I worked for in sales for a preventive healthcare company and was responsible for selling a comprehensive, more high-end “executive” health exam to corporate employees. I regularly met and exceeded my metrics for appointments booked.
Most recently, I’ve pivoted to more of a B2B capacity representing a physical therapy company expanding their business to Manhattan. Essentially, my job was to generate referrals. My day-to-day involved interacting with doctors, hospital networks, rehab facilities, and social work groups, maintaining relationships with existing referrers and developing new ones. I was responsible for setting up meetings with key decision makers in order to differentiate my company from our many competitors, discuss our value proposition, and provide consistent follow-up.
