In this role you will lead a functional team in supporting all aspects of plant and property management inclusive of services and preservation. Through proper planning and execution ensure all Business Units have access to required facilities to ensure successful completion of their core mission.

Key Qualifications

  • 10 years successful experience with progressively increasing responsibility for overall management of large property and facilities services.
  • A successful candidate will collaborate with the Site Manager to ensure successful delivery of contracted maintenance services to meet site needs. Will work closely with Site Manager to identify, monitor, and update preventive and planned maintenance programs for the long-term preservation of the buildings. He/She will utilize building data integration, visualization, and analytical tools to monitor and manage the campus services portfolio. Will work closely with Environment, Health and Safety, Security and IS&T organizations.
  • Will be skilled in creating, developing, and managing operating budgets related to services. Develops and reviews Apple policies and procedures. Interpret and manage Real Estate and Development policies and procedures for assigned areas. Clarify and resolve complex problems spanning multiple areas or technical fields; develop and oversee program implementation within assigned area. Implement and oversee condition assessment programs. Develops space plans (both strategic & tactical/detailed level) specifically related to campus migrations and portfolio backfill/projects. Develops and defines space needs, migration strategies, project justifications. Works closely with RE&D’s space planning teams to track headcount and discrepancies, and keep our space planning systems & data up-to-date
  • Skilled in the administration and management of multiple and diverse activities occurring concurrently with high levels of customer requirements and satisfaction. Experienced in providing a variety of service types with aggressive schedule and budget challenges.
  • Skilled in quality control/quality assurance methods and the ability to apply these principles throughout the services portfolio. Skilled in planning, tracking, evaluating, and reporting on assigned activities.
  • Ability to evaluate/analyze project information and utilize automated information management systems.
  • Skilled in oral and written communications.
  • Skilled in customer service/satisfaction.
  • Be a key resource for internal RE&D and business unit stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in key client relationship management.

Description

- Ensures all facilities services (SRM, FBM, Receptionist, MAC, and Vendor Services Teams) are operated and maintained in alignment with established standards, procedures, and budgets. - Manage third-party contractors/vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties. - Develop, cultivate and owns key relationships with business unit representatives, third party service providers, vendors, and landlord partners. Drive and support special projects and strategic initiatives for the portfolio. - Collaborate with peers across regions to ensure standards are shared and implemented. - Assists with annual budget development and operations analysis. - Establishes and maintains open, positive relationships with team and customers (Apple employees). - Manage all operations and functions within the unit consistent with regional and corporate priorities and objectives. - Develop staffing plans to align with anticipated growth models to ensure a seamless transition of workspace for client groups. - Identify disparity between "what is" (current condition) and "what ought to be" (desired condition) regarding regional priorities involving functions and responsibilities in his/her unit. - Direct, oversee, and evaluate each direct report person regarding productivity in achieving expected ends/results and supporting corporate/regional priorities and expected results. - With, and through staff, creates and implements an effective method of user feedback and input on associated assignments and process impacts.

Education & Experience

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Environmental Sciences or equivalent.

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $127,300 and $191,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
