Aliah Perkins

I am a hardworking, determined, and motivated individual that enjoys learning, growing, and expanding new knowledge in any select setting/aspect. Through my role as a Flash Pass Unit Supervisor under Accesso Technology, I was able to showcase capabilities of taking heed of challenging behind tasks. With being promoted to a supervisor during my freshmen year of high school, I was able to put my quick learning, leadership, and social skills all to use for the cause of effectively aiding in running an operation. I’ve been familiarized with socializing with multiple different groups, all while obtaining skills surrounding quick problem-solving and geberating productive resolutions. I’m naturally an outgoing, and confident individual, and I enjoy placing myself in public work settings/environments in order to exercise my social qualities/personality traits. I easily am able to grasp new concepts, all while having the important skills of negotiating and compromising with others to determine the best end result. From a more personal perspective, through my academic and work performances, I’ve shown that I can seamlessly integrate myself into a team-oriented environment where I strive towards making strong collaborative decisions with my peers. As a member of National Honors Society and involving myself within multiple clubs and community acts, I obtain the skill of being able to apply real world knowledge and experience through different aspects of life, such as work environments. All while still being 16 years of age, I’ve effectively managed to display strong leadership tactics in order to produce and assist and ensuring a successful habitat. My last point are my actions with dealing with customers, being that I’ve been well rounded in customer care, product knowledge, etc. Given multiple circumstances I’ve ended the victor in terms of making sure all involved parties walk away satisfied, whether that be addressing customer complaints and or aiding in the overall operation. To conclude, I possess a wide plethora of skills and abilities that can easily be integrated into any set team-orientated business and or environment.

In terms of my previous job, I worked as A Unit Supervisor of the Flash Pass operation under Six Flags and Accesso Technology for a little over 2 and a half years. My duties consisted of training on-boarding team members by fully equipping their knowledge on our product, handling customer service issues/conflicts, selling and promoting our product, overseeing the operation to ensure team members are staying on task, and presenting new ideas and collaborative solutions with my team. By no means did I abuse power in my role as a supervisor, being that my main course of interaction was trying to find common ground and familiarity amongst my peers. Although I did hold a management position, I still am able to 100% listen to guided direction, abide by the rules and regulations set in place, and acknowledge any said authority above my role. 

I am currently a junior at Bordentown highschool. Throughout my entire academic career I had taken all AP and Honors classes, further choosing to challenge my brain with the concept of obtaining advanced knowledge each and everyday.
