I have served various leadership roles in various capacities. I have experienced many diversified responsibilities in efforts to provide efficient service while working. I am a Qualified Professional I have experience with mental and behavioral health clients in my profession. These roles required intensive administrative tasks such as computing reports, conducting assessments, and managing documents, Case management and sufficient customer service skills Which is used in my medical administrative experience and customer support.  My background in social work allows me to experience preparing reports, managing high level caseloads. As well as, providing resources to families in the community on housing, food, government assistance, clothing, etc. Also, providing crisis intervention for families though  there challenges and assistant to meet their needs. My expertise is mediating, mentoring and conflict resolution with the youth population. I have a background in working with individuals on their mental health ,interpersonal skills, social skills,  and with any behavioral issues. and helping individuals in the community, including children with autism, mental health  and variety of disabilities.   I believe that the position would allow me to gain exposure from an enhanced perspective. School Social Worker , Carteret County School System                              January 2023- current

      

  • School social worker managing two elementary schools within the county
  • Establishes a set of rules and procedures that are appropriate for therapeutic setting and are within the parameter of the full instructional program.
  • Uses available and appropriate human and material resources as a bridge to the instructional program, the home, other services.
  • Plans, in collaboration with the educational team, for the prevention and intervention of inappropriate behaviors, while maintaining the dignity of the student.

  •  Provide comprehensive services to engage families in their own development to strengthen their family systems, protect the health and well-being of their children, and improve their economic status and conditions through community education, services, referrals and goal-setting.
  • Conduct parent application for children to be enrolled into Head Start and recruitment Fairs
  • Referred parents and children to other services needed for the family to ensure better lifestyle and education for the child. For example; disability services, housing assistance.
  • Assists with oversight, monitoring, and progress in delivering appropriate family education materials, family service requirements such as resource and referral services, closure on referrals, completion of Family Partnership Agreements, family goal setting, etc.
