Hi, I'm Abbie! I'm a dedicated nursing student with hands-on experience caring for children as a former direct care staff member in a group home. I'm passionate about healthcare, family support, and creating safe, nurturing environments—especially during life's most delicate moments. Outside of nursing, I have a creative spirit and love finding ways to blend my love for caregiving with entrepreneurship and art. I believe in building a future that’s not only career-driven but purpose-driven—and I’m excited to connect with others who are on similar journeys in healthcare, wellness, and creative growth.

I'm currently exploring roles that align with my long-term goal of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. I’m especially drawn to opportunities that allow me to grow clinically while making a meaningful impact on individuals and families. Whether in the classroom, hospital, or community, I bring empathy, focus, and a strong desire to learn.

I am a compassionate and adaptable professional with experience in both educational and healthcare support settings. I currently work as a substitute teacher, where I manage diverse classrooms and support student learning across grade levels. Previously, I served as a direct care staff member in a group home for children with special needs, providing one-on-one care, behavior support, and emotional guidance in a structured, high-responsibility environment. These roles have strengthened my skills in communication, patience, and crisis management—qualities I now bring into my journey as a nursing student with a focus on maternal and child health.

Currently pursuing a Degree in Nursing at Rasmussen University. Graduated with a high school diploma and actively building clinical and patient care experience through both education and hands-on roles.
