Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN with at least one year of recent experience and FL or compact state licensure.
ResponsibilitiesWork in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
10 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 OB Emergency Department beds
Handles approximately 230 births per month
12-hour night shifts are required
Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Returning employees must have been gone from the facility for at least 1 year before taking a travel assignment
Requirements
Active FL or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience
Certifications required:
BLS, NRP, and ACLS
Must be able to read and interpret fetal monitoring
