Aaliyah Jones

I am Aaliyah Jones, a driven student at Yuba College, majoring in Kinesiology and Biology with the goal of becoming an athletic trainer. As a first-generation college student, I balance over 15 credits each semester while working two jobs, maintaining a 3.7 GPA, and participating in the volleyball club and Black Student Organization. My passion for athletic training stems from my desire to support athletes in maximizing their performance and recovering from injuries. In high school, I served as ASB president, founded the Athletic Club, and maintained a 4.0 GPA, experiences that taught me resilience, leadership, and teamwork—qualities that I carry into my college and career journey.

I worked as an intern for Randy’s laser service, helping to sell parts for bystronic laser machines for 2 years.

I worked an athletic training internship at the University of Nevada, Reno for 6 months.

I am currently working under the athletic director at Yuba college for federal work study.

I am currently attending Yuba college; Working on my transfer degree in Kinesiology and business management. I am a student athlete playing volleyball for Yuba college.
