FINANCE People Solutions is a privately owned, specialized consulting company for finance departments in the areas of direct search, interim management, and career counseling.

We see ourselves as partners of the CFO (m/f/d) and specialize in filling CFO positions and their direct reports worldwide, both in permanent and interim management roles. FINANCE is our partner and publisher of the renowned FINANCE magazine.

We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist Group Accounting (m/f/d) for an international logistics services company based in the Hamburg area.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be involved in the preparation of group financial statements based on IFRS.
  • Additionally, you will support and guide both domestic and foreign subsidiaries through the entire consolidation process (data submission, intercompany reconciliation, capital consolidation, etc.).
  • You will provide support and act as a point of contact for auditors for both domestic and foreign subsidiaries.
  • You will work closely with the Group Controlling, Group Treasury, and Tax departments.
  • You will optimize and design processes and interfaces in accounting.
  • You will actively support the application of reporting tools (e.g. IFRS 16 Leasing) and handle and assess IFRSrelated accounting issues.
  • You will also work on various projects, especially M&A projects.

Profile:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in economics or business administration and have several years of experience in group accounting or auditing.
  • You have experience with common EPM systems
