Welcome to the most populous district in Schleswig-Holstein.

With around 1,300 employees, we are committed to the well-being of approximately people in various fields - individually, friendly and obligingly.

Our team for integration assistance for minors ensures that children and adolescents with intellectual, physical and/or mental disabilities can participate equally in society.

The necessary support is determined after comprehensive consultation and needs assessment within the framework of the Federal Participation Act (BTHG).


With the implementation of the Child and Youth Strengthening Act (KJSG), the legislator has stipulated that this task must be carried out within the framework of youth welfare from 2028 onwards.

The path to this goal is being shaped together with actors from youth welfare in an externally moderated process.

The Youth / Social Services department and its more than 180 employees offer a variety of tasks. Prevention is an important concern for us. We support families in many life situations. You will become part of a large community and a team that will also provide you with good training. We value flat hierarchies and transparent communication based on appreciation.

We also place great importance on a trusting cooperation with our independent carriers and all other actors in the network of youth welfare in the district of Pinneberg, which we have been living for many years.


Approximately 25 people from different professions work in the team for integration assistance for minors.<
