ABOUT THE ROLE - YOUR MISSION:

As a Café Supervisor, you will be a vital member of our team at The Base in Lakewood, IL and report directly to the location manager.

Your main goal is to provide an exceptional experience for all community members and guests during their stay.

Your responsibilities will include:
F&B OPERATIONS

Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the café within the property
Cover shifts in the café, serving breakfast, drinks, and snacks
Interact with customers regularly to gather feedback on product quality, service levels, and overall satisfaction
Collaborate with the Community Manager and Venue Sales Manager to ensure successful execution of events
Maintain fully stocked and visually appealing vending machines and "Späti" shelves
Manage food and beverage orders and inventory
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regularly train your team
Recruit, coach, train, and develop your team
Organize shift schedules and holiday planning
Support the Marketing Team with social media content
Engage in onsite sales activities such as upselling and crossselling

Your profile - HARD FACTS:

You have previous experience in a leadership role in the F&B industry or have acquired enough experience to take the next step in your career.
You have a passion for coffee and food and stay uptodate on market trends.
You genuinely enjoy working with people and have excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus
