Media and Public Relations Officer (m/f/d) with a focus on digital communication in Lakewood, IL

Your responsibilities

  • As part of the dedicated team of the Communication Department of the LVR Commissioner for Children, Youth and Family, you will take on diverse and responsible tasks in communicating the services for the people in the Rhineland.
  • As part of a communication tandem in the department, you will shape press, media, and public relations, with a focus on digital channels.
  • You will develop strategies, design and implement measures for the communication tasks of the Department for Children, Youth and Family, with a focus on digital communication. This includes creating newsletters, social media posts, and texts for the website.
  • You will engage in dialogue with citizens, experts, and member organizations to promote an inclusive society in the Rhineland, using various online and offline communication channels.
  • You will pay special attention to accessibility and targeted communication, including easy language. You will work closely with the department management and departments of the LVR Department for Children, Youth and Family, as well as other LVR departments.
