Responsibilities:


Create, Maintain, and/or Distribute the following:

  • Contact Lists: Sony Inter-department quick reference, Post Production Executive (all studios)
  • Motion Picture Production Database: Post Production Database
  • Post Production Schedules
  • Production Sign Off Sheets
  • Post Production Manual
  • Delivery Schedule and Summary, as directed by EVP
  • Screenings (on and offlot): Coordinate Director's Cut, Recruited, Marketing/Publicity, Exhibitor
  • Relations, Interdepartment, and Special Request
  • Screeners: Coordinate making and distribution for FilmMakers, Marketing/Publicity, Executives, Exhibitor
  • PIX Liaison between PIX vendor, multiple Sony departments, labs, and production (preproduction through release)
  • Serves as the Post Production Representative as needed for computer software, i.e. PIX, Dropzone, Studio System, and MPPDB
  • Serves as the Post Production Representative for screener workflow process in conjunction with multiple Sony departments
  • Interface with Deluxe Digital in ordering all studios Key Delivery Message (KDM) for screenings, entailing time parameters, uuid numbers and hard drive numbers
  • Ensures studio security policies are handled within KDM system to avoid breaches
  • Manage and coordinate technical checks (runthroughs), for certain screenings for every Columbia, TriStar and Screen Gems Release including premieres, all media's, international press, BAFTA/HFPA, junkets, awards, cast/crew, all other high profile event screenings
  • Manages prescreening of content at studio screen rooms, arranging picture and sound engineering
  • Maintain and schedule onlot screenings for creative groups including Production executives, Legal Department/Script Clearances, Music Department, CFO, CIO, P&O, Acquisitions, Stage Six, Screen Gems and Home Entertainment, SPC among others
  • Obtains films from outside companies and studios, arranging logistics of the DCP's and KDM's

Requirements:


  • 4+ years of experience of postproduction experience, preferably within a studio or film post house
  • Ability to see multiple projects through from start to finish with mínimal guidance
  • Ability to handle multiple projects within tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Calendar, Excel, Word, Communicator), Adobe Acrobat, Studio System, PIX, MPPDB, SAP, GPMS, Calendar Creator, and AIM
The anticipated base salary for this position is $91,058 - $118,375. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits.

The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
