Description

We are looking for a full-time or part-time employee (up to 40 hours/week) to start as soon as possible at our location in Rühstädt. The position is initially limited with the option for extension.

The NABU State Association Brandenburg is the largest nature conservation association in Brandenburg with over members and the operator of the Rühstädt Visitor Center. The center offers a modern exhibition that invites visitors of all ages to learn more about the Elbe-Brandenburg River Landscape Biosphere Reserve and its wild inhabitants. The focus is on the storks, which are a real attraction for the Stork Village.

Your tasks

•Development of environmental education programs

•Participation in the development of educational concepts and projects

•Maintenance and development of partnerships with educational institutions (e.g. schools, daycares)

•Preparation, organization, implementation and follow-up of nature experience activities for participants of all ages

•Public relations, in particular, managing the website and social media

•Exhibition service (assisting guests in the exhibition and shop)

•Participation in the development and maintenance of the exhibition, outdoor area, and workplace
