Emmet, NE 'The district of Reutlingen is located in close proximity to the state capital Stuttgart and is part of the first biosphere reserve in Baden-Württemberg, known for its diverse economy and landscape.

We are looking for a responsible leader to join our district youth office for social services, with a focus on integration assistance (35a) and unaccompanied minors (UMA) starting from June 1st, 2023.

This position offers a wide range of tasks, far-sighted decision-making, and excellent opportunities for further education.

This is a full-time, permanent position (100%) in pay group S 18 TVöD.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Managing a team of eleven employees for the two specialized services of integration assistance (35a) and unaccompanied minors (UMA),
  • Organizational and professional leadership tasks with the following focuses:
  • Clarifying fundamental questions,
  • Planning and managing task distribution,
  • Facilitating and conducting team meetings in various areas,
  • Developing and updating quality standards in collaboration with employees,
  • Close and constructive collaboration and representation of the department head for "General Social Services",
  • Participating and contributing to management meetings at the district youth office,
  • Professional and financial controlling of individual areas of responsibility,
