Duties:


  • You will serve as project leader and senior technical advisor for devising, implementing, and overseeing the information management plan for various Information Technology (IT) services.
  • You will serve as the IT liaison providing engineering and operational support across multiple divisions and directorates within the organization.
  • You will manage and oversee projects involved with providing administration, operations, and management services to assigned functional programs.
  • You will provide expert advice to users, suggesting technically feasible solutions and recommending cost effective/efficient automation approaches that will result in positive impact for multiple users.

  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Network Ops Specialist, proficiency level Advanced. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the excepted service which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
  • PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing IT system requirements in response to business requirements, risks, and costs to evaluate system software; 2) Identifying new equipment, configurations, system enhancements, or technological changes to improve system cost effectiveness and/or user productivity; 3) Advising customers on IT operation regulations and policies; and 4) Identifying information management requirements and the emerging and innovative procurement process for information equipment and services.
  • Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving
