The Chair of Advanced Transmission Electron Microscopy, under the direction of Prof. Christian Liebscher, focuses on the investigation of materials at the atomic level using transmission electron microscopy.

The research is centered around the development of new methods in electron microscopy and data analysis to contribute to the discovery of new material phenomena.

The chair is part of the Research Center Future Energy Materials and Systems and the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy.
