Start your dual studies (B.Eng.) in Information Technology - Information Engineering (m/f/d) at our X-FAB location in Dresden from October 2024.

The program at the Dresden University of Cooperative Education will lead to a Bachelor of Engineering (BA) degree.

The practical study phases will take place at X-FAB in Dresden, where you will gain experience in development, planning, and production.


After completing your Bachelor of Engineering (BA) in Information Technology, you will have the opportunity to take on responsibilities such as developing and optimizing semiconductor processes, conducting operational business processes, or commissioning, maintaining, and repairing electrical and automation equipment.

During the academic phase at the University of Cooperative Education, you will focus on the following study contents:

  • Development, adaptation, and integration of hardware and software
  • System selection
  • Problem analysis
Duration of study: 3 years


Requirements:

  • Fulfillment of admission requirements according to the Saxon BA Law
  • Good theoretical background in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or IT
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Interest in information technology systems (hardware and software)
  • Ideally, some programming knowledge
  • Strong abstract thinking skills, quick comprehension, and a goaloriented work style
