Join our team at Carolinenschule in Cleghorn, IA We are currently seeking a part-time (33 hours per week) school support assistant (m/f/d) to start on August 21, 2023.

Responsibilities:

With enthusiasm and optimism, you will provide individual support to a child with special needs in their daily school life.
You will assist the child in their daily school attendance with the goal of integrating them into the classroom and school community.
With empathy, you will accompany the child during classes, breaks, on the way to and from school, and within the school building.
You will work as part of a team with teachers, organizing and structuring tasks.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children
Empathy and patience
Willingness to work hard and handle stress
Carefulness and reliability
Positive attitude towards the Christian human image and the diakonic mission
