This department plays a crucial role in preventing financial crime in the DB's business activities and global financial services, while also safeguarding the interests of the bank and society.


To effectively combat financial crime and respond flexibly to challenges, AFC has a matrix structure that combines regional, business unit-specific, and global functions.


It is divided into the following core areas:
Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Fraud, Bribery & Corruption, Investigations & Intelligence, Monitoring & Screening, and Risk Assessment.
