The City Planning Department of the state capital Wiesbaden is looking for a Head of the "Land Use Plan" team, including project management for the revision of the land use plan (f/m/d).

The Department of Urban Development develops perspectives for the future of the state capital Wiesbaden. Based on the adopted "Integrated Urban Development Concept Wiesbaden 2030+", the land use plan is currently being revised. In addition, "Wiesbaden 2030+" provides the framework for further regional and specialized studies and concepts.

Creating new housing and jobs on increasingly limited space while maintaining and expanding Wiesbaden as a "Green City" are the most important challenges in urban development.

For our efficient team of five employees, we are looking for a leader. Work with us to develop and manage the strategic development goals for urban development in the coming years

Your tasks

Project management for the revision of the land use plan
Management of the department in terms of professional, personnel and organizational aspects
Conducting all procedures of preparatory urban land use planning
Developing innovative approaches to urban development with a citywide and regional focus
Developing urban planning and basic concepts for urban development as well as strategic discussion and decisionmaking bases
Examining and assessing planningrelated issues and preparing corresponding expert opinions
Preparing meeting documents and professional statements, as well as representing planning goals to city committees and the public
Strengthening crossdepartmental
