Your workplace is our children's center with a permit for 100 children located in Yadkin College, NC. Currently, we provide care for 85 children in an open concept from 11am to 5pm or 6pm. During school holidays, we are open from 7:30am.


We are:

  • A parent initiative that has taken responsibility in the community of Pliening for over 30 years.
  • A wellestablished institution that has been caring for the needs of families since its founding and has already achieved a lot.
  • A small provider in child care, ensuring that children, parents, and employees can feel comfortable in a personal and respectful atmosphere.
  • An employer who values personal contact with employees and addresses all concerns in a timely manner through direct communication.

We include:

  • Professional administrative structures with a fulltime management.
  • The children's house in Plieninger Familienland with 85 afterschool care spots and 20 daycare spots, a lunch care with 75 spots, and other offerings from the association. We work in an open concept at the children's center.
  • Our own kitchen where fresh meals are prepared daily for our children in afterschool care, lunch care, daycare, and our employees.
  • Currently 28 employees who enjoy working in child care, the kitchen, and administration.
  • The volunteer board members who take responsibility for both the fulltime and volunteer work of the association.

Tasks:

  • Experience with schoolage children in grades 1
